I'm working on several projects this week. One is a playquilt made with this darling fabric I've kept hidden, Monaco in pink by Monaluna.
There is a Quilting Bee this Saturday being held in our area, where many congregations come together and bring quilts that they have made during the year and donate them to a local ministry. Displaced families who have gone through their recovery program are able to pick out a quilt to take home. Not only does it feel good to rotate and move fabric along, but I can help families as well. It's pretty exciting to see this event.

ReplyDeleteWhat is raggy binding??
ReplyDeleteAmy, if you click on the raggy binding link, it will take you to the tutorial. Also, if you go to the "finished quilts" tab at the top of my blog, you will find some play quilts with raggy bindings.
